European River Cruise April 2008 -

What an excellent way to explore Europe. After unpacking once we cruised from Amsterdam to Budapest on our luxury river boat, where all meals, sightseeing and wine with dinner, was included. Travelling along the Rhine river and Danube rivers visiting the many picturesque towns along the way. The guided sightseeing on all our stops was first class with a mixture of walking and bus tours, the guides were well informed and full of character. A photographers paradise of beautiful UNESCO World Heritage sites and spectacular river scenery. Plenty of time to enjoy the cultures, the beer & wine and of course shopping. The personalised service and fabulous cuisine could not be faulted. With only 140 passengers aboard there were opportunities to socialise but also plenty of room to enjoy some quiet space and there were no queues when departing or returning from the tours. All meals were a free seating choice which allowed us to mix with as many of our fellow travelers as we chose. A truly fascinating trip, we discovered so much whilst still enjoying the full holiday experience of a cruise.
